Sanae Beach Huahin

4.4(1,392 reviews)

Sanae Beach Huahin is a beachfront resort property in the Nongkae area of Hua Hin, positioned directly on the beach with panoramic sea views and the distinctive Khao Tao (Turtle Mountain) as a backdrop. The setting is notably more peaceful than central Hua Hin, offering guests a quieter coastal experience away from the busier resort strips. The property features a swimming pool, a maintained garden, and beach access, making it a comfortable base for those prioritising a relaxed seaside stay over proximity to town. Guest experiences are mixed in some areas. Rooms receive consistent praise for cleanliness, and the staff are frequently described as friendly and attentive. The resort is also noted as pet-friendly, which sets it apart for travelling pet owners. Breakfast is included in the room rate and generally well-regarded, though the restaurant menu is considered expensive relative to portion size and quality by several visitors, so those planning to dine on-site regularly should factor this into their budget. Good to know: The location is relatively isolated, and visitors without their own vehicle will find getting around inconvenient. A rental car or motorbike is strongly recommended for accessing local restaurants, markets, and nearby attractions. The cooler, drier months from November to February offer the most comfortable beach conditions, while the May to October rainy season can limit outdoor enjoyment. The pool can get busy with children, particularly during weekends and Thai school holidays, so guests seeking quieter swim times may prefer early mornings on weekdays.

Visitor Reviews

Nice Resort right on the Beach with a well maintained Garden and Pool. Staff was always friendly and helpful and the food was excellent. It's a little isolated so a car or motorbike is helpful.

The room so clean. I really like hotel service. The staff very nice and empty. The food very delicious both breakfast and dinner. Especially this hotel is pet friendly.

Lovely location room was clean you need a car or motorcycle to get around. Great breakfast included in the price. Although the menu is expensive in my opinion. I will go again.

Tips for Visiting Beaches & Islands

Check Monsoon Seasons

The Andaman coast (Phuket, Krabi) has rough seas from May to October. The Gulf coast (Koh Samui, Koh Phangan) is roughest from October to December. Plan your island-hopping around these windows.

Snorkel Gear Is Cheap to Buy

Rental gear is often scratched and ill-fitting. Buy a decent mask and snorkel at a Tesco Lotus or Big C for 300–500 THB — cheaper than two days of rentals and much more hygienic.

Book Ferries on 12Go.Asia

The 12Go platform lets you compare ferry operators, times, and prices between islands. Book a day or two ahead in high season. Avoid the cheapest operators if reviews mention safety concerns.
