Jungle Flight ATV (เกาะพะงัน)
Jungle Flight ATV offers guided off-road quad bike tours through the interior of Koh Pha-ngan, taking riders along rough jungle tracks, through river crossings, up hillside climbs, and out to a sunset viewpoint that most beach-bound visitors never see. Run by owner Chai and his team, the operation has built a loyal following for its personal approach — tours are guided closely, water and fruit are provided, and the focus is firmly on showing guests a side of the island that stays well off the beaten track. The experience runs approximately 1.5 hours and suits a wide range of abilities, including first-time riders and older travellers, making it more accessible than the terrain might suggest. The setup is informal and stripped-back rather than polished — the base in Ban Tai village is modest, and the operation runs without heavy-handed formalities. This keeps prices competitive and the atmosphere relaxed, though riders should come prepared for genuine off-road conditions: muddy trails, uneven ground, and jungle heat are all part of the experience. Closed-toe shoes and clothes you don't mind getting dirty are strongly recommended. Tours run daily from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with morning departures generally offering cooler temperatures. Booking directly through the operator is straightforward, and advance reservations are advisable during the high season between November and February. The Ban Tai location sits away from the main tourist centres, so confirming transport arrangements ahead of time is worthwhile.

Visitor Reviews
Took my girlfriend and my 73 year old mother on the ATV tour. We booked directly through Mr Chai and had Mum as our guide. Had a great time seeing Koh Phangan “off the beaten track”. Great adventure. No stress. We did see one other group that tried to get cute on their ATV and, as one might expect, had an accident. So if you do go, and I fully recommend it, do what your guide tells you to do. He will keep you safe. And please say hello to Suda for us. She’s a sweetheart of a dog.
Absolutely amazing experience! The quad ride through the jungle and up to the sunset viewpoint was incredible. Chai, the owner, and his team turned these 1.5 hours into a truly unforgettable adventure. We were three girls and felt completely safe and well taken care of the whole time. The route was exciting, beautiful, and perfectly organized and the sunset was the highlight. Highly recommended, we would do it again anytime!
Highly recommend the jungle ATV tour. The trails were rough, muddy, and fun as hell. You'll drive through rivers, climb hills, and get soaked in jungle scenery. The guides were solid-made sure everyone was safe but still let us push the limits. If you like adrenaline and don't mind getting dirty, this is worth it. Wear old clothes and bring extra water

Tips for Visiting Activities & Tours
Vet Elephant Sanctuaries
Only visit sanctuaries that prohibit riding, use no chains or bullhooks, and let elephants roam freely. Elephant Nature Park in Chiang Mai set the standard. If a place offers painting shows or circus tricks, walk away.
Book Through Klook or GetYourGuide
These platforms offer instant confirmation, free cancellation on most activities, and prices that are often lower than walk-up rates. Compare with local agencies for multi-day trips where negotiation might save more.
Do Outdoor Activities in the Morning
Heat and humidity peak from noon to 3 PM. Schedule jungle treks, cycling tours, and outdoor cooking classes for early morning. Water activities are more flexible since you're in and out of the sea.
