Thaithani Cultural Village & Elephant Pattaya
Set in Pattaya's Sattahip district, this cultural village recreates traditional Thai architecture, craftsmanship, and spiritual life across a sprawling, walkable site. Visitors move through village structures that illustrate regional building styles and historical ways of life, while working temples add authentic atmosphere beyond what a typical museum offers. The addition of elephant encounters broadens its appeal, weaving together the cultural and natural dimensions of Thai heritage in a single destination. The experience is notably guided, with staff praised by visitors for their knowledge, warmth, and organisation. Guides lead guests through exhibits on Thai history and arrange elephant interaction sessions, while a dedicated photographer is available to capture the visit. Dress-up experiences in traditional Thai costume are also on offer. The White Lotus Retreat café sits within the village grounds, making it easy to rest and refresh between sections of the site. Good to know: The village opens daily from 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM, lending itself well to a half-day or full-day itinerary. Given the outdoor nature of much of the site and Pattaya's tropical heat, light clothing, sun protection, and comfortable walking shoes are strongly recommended. Checking the official website before visiting is worthwhile for current ticketing options, guided tour availability, and any scheduled events.

Visitor Reviews
I was truly amazed by this place. It was our first time visiting and I came with a foreign friend. First of all, we were warmly welcomed by all the staff with genuine smiles and helpful recommendations. We had lunch there and the food was good ,the traditional Thai dance show was also beautiful .we also had the opportunity to join a workshop making Thung Yai Maeng Mum a traditional Thai craft originally from the Isan region. There were so many interesting things to see and experience. A staff member named “Ron” gave us a tour around the place, explaining and introducing everything in detail. He speaks good English and his way of talking and smiling felt very natural. We really liked him,he was friendly, sincere and made us feel like we had gained a new friend. The place was very clean and beautifully designed, blending traditional and modern Thai styles perfectly. I love elephants and had the chance to feed them, which was an amazing experience. The recreated settings and traditional Thai costumes were absolutely beautiful. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for unique and memorable activities in Pattaya.
I first planned to visit White Lotus Retreat (the name reminds me of my favorite series on Netflix). The café is located inside Thai Thani Culture Village, so you need to walk inside the village. When I arrived, the staff warmly welcomed me and introduced many activities available there. You can make traditional Thai desserts, wear Thai traditional costumes (starting from 300 baht, available for men, women, and kids), and even learn Muay Thai. Before going to the café, I walked around the area. The atmosphere was very peaceful and relaxing. The village is designed with traditional Thai houses from different regions of Thailand, which beautifully represent Thai culture. There are also elephants, and you can feed them for 100 baht. Just walking around and enjoying the atmosphere was already a fun experience. Next time, I will try wearing a Thai traditional costume and take some photos. 📸😌
We had such a wonderful experience here! The service was excellent from start to finish. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the photographer did a fantastic job capturing memorable moments. The drinks were refreshing, and the elephant ride was an unforgettable highlight. A special mention goes to the complimentary English-speaking guide, Robert, who took us around and explained everything in such a knowledgeable and informative way. It made the whole visit even more enjoyable and meaningful. Highly recommended!

Dress Modestly
Cover shoulders and knees at all temples. Carry a light scarf or sarong — some temples lend wraps, but not all. Shoes come off before entering any building with a Buddha image.
Mind Your Feet
Never point your feet at a Buddha image or a monk — it's considered deeply disrespectful. When sitting inside a temple, tuck your feet behind you or to the side.
Ask Before Photographing
Exterior photos are almost always fine, but some interior halls prohibit photography. Look for signs, and never pose irreverently with Buddha images — it's a legal offense in Thailand.
